Local MPs Rt Hon Dr Andrew Murrison (south west Wiltshire) and his neighbour Treasury minister John Glen (Salisbury) met NFU President and Wilshire farmer Minette Batters at an event in Parliament on Monday.
Andrew is calling on local residents to discover the World War heritage on their doorstep by embracing War Graves Week, 21 May to 28 May – an initiative from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC).
Andrew today chaired a meeting at The Bradley Hare in Maiden Bradley to examine the removal of heavy traffic from Maiden Bradley, Corsley and Chapmanslade with highways authority officials.
Local MP and Chair of the National Trust All Party Parliamentary Group Dr Andrew Murrison visited Dinton Park and Philipps House Dinton with Trust officials to discuss plans for the property.
On Wednesday 20th April, Northacre Renewable Energy’s proposal for a waste incinerator came in front of Wiltshire Council’s Strategic Planning Committee following the Government’s decision not to ‘call in’ the issue and rule on it directly.
