Trowbridge MP Dr Andrew Murrison has hailed the decision by the Planning Inspectorate to reject an appeal by Wain Homes against Wiltshire Council's refusal of its application to build 91 houses at Southview Farm this week as a victory for common sense.

Andrew said;

Andrew paid his tribute to the late Queen in the Commons on Friday, offering the condolences of his South West Wiltshire constituents. Andrew said;

A good and gracious lady has passed from us after a lifetime in the service of her people.

Andrew writes again to the Chief Executive of the Environment Agency re. Westbury odour.

Westbury's MP has thanked Wiltshire Council's strategic planning committee for rejecting Hills Waste's plans to build a large waste incinerator adjacent to Arla Dairy's Northacre site in Westbury this afternoon.

Andrew attended an awareness event in the Commons on Wednesday to highlight the importance of early diagnosis of chronic kidney disease.

CKD causes 40000 deaths a year in the UK.

Andrew said;

Andrew spoke at Warminster and District Churches Together on Friday evening at the Grace Christian Centre Woodcock Road Warminster hosted by Pastors Stephen and Janet Wood (pictured) and introduced by Churches Together Secretary Karen Woollard.

Yesterday, Andrew resigned his post as Boris Johnson’s Trade Envoy to Morocco (letter attached).

He said; 

“I can no longer square continuing as Mr Johnson’s appointee with my sense of honesty and integrity.
