In order to keep pace with more urban regions, it is vital that Wiltshire has a modern and dynamic infrastructure. I have taken every opportunity to push the Government to take action in addressing poor broadband speeds and mobile 'notspots', improving our transport connectivity, and balancing housing supply with preservation of vital green belt land. A major issue has been the A350 which sees heavy loads blistering through tight residential areas, and I continue to lobby the Government for a substantial solution.
