Andrew visits JobCentre

Andrew Murrison visited the local JobCentre in Bythesea Road Trowbridge to see how people in west Wiltshire are helped into work and what more might be done. He said;

Andrew supports school defibrillator campaign

Andrew met with the Oliver King Foundation in Westminster to show his support for every school to have a defibrillator by 2020. The Oliver King Foundation was set up in 2012 following the death of 12-year-old Oliver. He died from a sudden cardiac arrest whilst at school.

Andrew opposes Westbury gasification development

Andrew has today written to Wiltshire Council to express his opposition to a planning application to construct an gasification plant in Westbury and an associated waste sorting station.

Northern Ireland Committee Update

What an incredible time to lead the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee! The collapse of the Stormont Executive and the Irish land border issue that is so pivotal to the Brexit negotiations have put NIAC front and centre and required it to work at full tilt.
