MP welcomes ministers’ endorsement of local planning process

Andrew Murrison has welcomed a letter sent to MPs by local government and housing ministers Greg  Clark and Brandon Lewis which underscore the importance of local plans. The letter says that councils that do not design one soon will have one written for them.

Dr Murrison said;

“Warminster already has an excellent town plan drafted with the benefit of local consultation and setting house building at 900. The ministerial letter supports the centrality of the local plan in determining the extent of development and thus the Warminster figure of 900.”
