Andrew welcomes road remedies

Andrew Murrison MP has welcomed the announcement that Wiltshire Council will spend £8 million over 12 months on repairing local roads, particularly potholes.

He has also commended the council for suspending Sunday charges in its car parks, ending the need to ‘pay to pray.’


Roads minister Jesse Norman has written to MPs with a breakdown of how the £420 million announced in the Budget for minor road repairs and potholes would mean for each local government area.
