Andrew has received a letter from Minister Mary Creagh MP in which she informs him that the government will be opposing his anti-Incinerator Bill. The MP said;
“Given the incinerator overcapacity in the UK, the response is highly disappointing. My party’s manifesto at the 2024 general election contained a commitment to no more incinerators. Plainly this government has different ideas.
I will continue to campaign strongly against the planned Westbury incinerator.”
